Meet Richard A. Fagin, DDS
Dr. Richard Fagin earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. After graduation he served two years in the United States Air Force Dental Corp where his interest and experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery continued. Dr. Fagin completed his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Delaware Medical Center in Wilmington, Delaware.
Dr. Fagin is one of the few surgeons to have been trained by Professor Branemark of Sweden, the inventor of the technology used in today’s implants. He continues to adhere to the principals of evidence based surgical practice combined with the newest technologies that provide safety and the best long-term outcomes for his patients.
Dr. Fagin is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and is a Fellow in the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Dr. Fagin serves as a general anesthesia evaluator on behalf of the California State Board of Dental Examiners. Dr. Fagin is a member of numerous professional organizations and has lectured on a variety of oral surgery topics. He is a surgical staff member of Mills-Pennisula Hospital and has been serving Peninsula Families for over 35 years
Dr. Fagin resides with his wife, Tish, and their family in Palo Alto. He enjoys biking and swimming, current events, Ultimate Frisbee, his family, and friends.
